Late this evening, AJJE Games became a full member of the Simming League. Mike Culver and myself have been working on this for over a month and we are excited to see our application approved by the Simming League members.
The Simming League is an organization that is made up of delegations of club leaders from nine other RPG clubs. The RPG clubs range from Star War RPGs to Star Trek PBEMs. The Simming League is ran by a President that is elected by the other clubs. Currently, the SLA RPG group holds the presidency. The Simming League's main purpose is to provide a common ground for club leaders from all over the internet and provide award programs and special events for the simming community.
For the most part the organization has had its troubles over the last year. Even though most of their lofty goals meet with little success, the Simming League is still a viable area for networking opportunities and allows AJJE Games to raise its profile among other RPGs.
The Simming League allows 2 Senators and 3 Representatives to be part of the delegation. Mike Culver will be serving as the Senior Senator to the Simming League. In terms of AJJE hierarchy, he will be in the Public Relations group which reports to AJJE RPG Development.

The time requirements are minimal and participation in the Simming League beyond basic votes is optional. This whole experience with the Simming League will be what we make of it and I hope it might open up some doors for good relationships with the RPing community.
