This afternoon I gave final approval for a use agreement between SFHQ and Kuro RPG.
A couple days ago, Therle Dregansky reached out to Kuro RPG to obtain permission for use of a small set of images for the Black Prince MOTD. Therle provided the link to this RPG over IM and I was able to browse through its libary of images which include 23rd Century, 24th Century, Klingon and Romulan Rank Insignia images. After going looking at the completeness and quality of the images, I found it to be a perfect fit for the SFHQ RP model. I ran a test on the USS Scorpius to see if these images could be integrated into the PARS roster system. As you can see from the Scorpius, the test was a success.
Early this morning I reached out to Kuro RPG, so that SFHQ could fully integrate these images into our club for an extended period of time. Kuro RPG is allowing SFHQ unlimited use of its large library of rank insigna images, in exchange SFHQ will provide a banner on its "Rank Description Pages". SFHQ has agreed to not modify these images without written permission as well as not to hotlink to the Kuro RPG site.
